2nd May 2009
Not much to update as there is not much changes in the progress. We are still at the lift inspection portion which will hopefully be done this coming week. On the developer's portion, the lifts are up and ready but if you were to go there yourself, you could see all the wires (to the buttons) are still protruding out like it has not been completed at all but when i went to get some feedback from the developer, i was told that they can't simply put things up simply for security reason. Only when the inspection people come by would they put up all those things.
Once the local authority gives them the green light on the lifts portion, next will come the fire department check which is the final portion before giving us the keys to our new home.

For those who plan to renovate their place up like putting all necessary changes to the design, you guys already can do that by going to the developer's office to do so as they have their design ready and waiting. For those who prefer to do it outside, you can start also by choosing the design from interior design company. Some(interior designer) might already have the layout to your home and planning your house now is faster then expected rather then waiting for you to get your measurement and all. Bear in mind one thing that getting cheap products does not mean its good as designing what you want and the material you like would cost differently and therefore, its wise for you to choose the carpenter or designer who can explain to you in details what you are having and what you are paying for. They can quote the lowest price that would make you absolutely happy but in return, the quality might not what you want. So, make a wise decision on this part.

From what i learn when scouting all these and also all the advice i got, make sure you put in more money on the things you think you would be using often rather then putting money on the things you think would look good. If you think you are going to cook always at home, why not put more bucks into your kitchen layout and materials rather then putting more money on the deco walls which are going to be displayed only. Well, this is for those would have budget expenditure though but then, if you have allocated a lot of money on reno, then making everything nice would be great as well. Rememeber, making your home the one you like does not mean blowing up your pockets. Some design i see quite nice and cheap and still looks good. So, why not right?

Another thing i would like to share, and its not something so nice to hear anyway, is that, we will need to pay 3 months advance maintenance fee when we get the keys later (during VP). How much you may ask, well, it depend solely on the size of you unit, so, different owner might have different charges.

Hi,

Since we are running an intercom-based system, all of the unit will have their own number. Not quite sure whether you will have your own subjected number or not but i think you might be able to apply it on your own as a second line perhaps.

How about if my house not planning to register a house phone. Can we still can get intercom service from the developer. Because intercom mean for internal use only, i think even we not apply a house phone from TM also can use, it is?

Micheal, just to check with u, is the intercom integrated with the TM phone line?? I just check with the developer's office and was informed that v actually have to pay rm22/month for the phone to use the intercom system as they are both integrated. For those who dun 12 subsribe TM fix line, they won be able to enjoy the intercom. Am i right?

Hi there,

So sorry for not getting the answer just yet coz i'm pretty busy lately and when talking about getting information, i tend to go face to face with the developer before passing you guys any information. Hope you guys can be patient on this.

Sorry and thanx

Hi hi,

About the intercom system, its actually under TM authority. Meaning we are subsribing to them on this matter and yes.....it cost around RM22 which is cheaper then our normal fixed line that stood at RM26.

With this system, meaning u can call out(normal rate) as well as make free internal calls. For those who do not plan to subscribe it then you wont be able to enjoy the intercom facility.

I'm kinda optimistic they won't delay till end of the year. I guess most of you guys are really eager to move in already and seems that now, there are not much left to do except the council approval only.
Basic work to get the approval has been wrap up long time ago. So, the real work will begin once the OC has been given. For now, let us hope we can get everything sort out this month.
