Telaga Emas - Update

1st April 2011
Good news to all of the residents in Vista Bay Apartment....... and I can assure you that this is not an April Fool's news. We receive a letter from MPSP yesterday as we are part of the recipient but the letter was actually intended for the AIRMAS Contractor beside.

Anyway, the letter was a feedback letter from MPSP to Saujana Desa Bina Sdn Bhd regarding their request to prolong their working time from existing 9.00am till 6.00pm from Monday to Saturday to add 1 hour at each end with the option of working on Sunday as well. This of course was turned down by us immediately as this would definitely effect our daily routine with the need to bear all the noise pollution coming from their side. Bear in mind that their project is about 50 feet away from our building only.

Right now, the letter to the contractor saying they would only be able to work on the following time and day as you can see below:

Monday - Friday : 8.00am - 6.00pm
Saturday:               8.00am - 1.00pm
Sunday:                 No work

Seems the time is better for us and we Solute MPSP for taking our livelihood into consideration especially En Ahmad Nasyruddin, Pengarah Jabatan Bangunan in making this decision.

i heard MPSP has recently extended their working hour on Saturday to 6pm. How could this happen?

For me its not something that come as a surprise. They have make an appeal to MPSP about this and seem they have won. They actually wanted to work on Sundays as well but MPSP requested to give and take. They allow to extend till 6pm on Saturday and Sunday is a no working day.

Malaysia business culture again. what can we do?

You would need to get use to this culture.kekeke.
Anyway, I've stated to MPSP saying i'm staying put that Sunday is no working day. If they insist to allow them to work then we will take action against anyone taking us lightly.
For now, I just want them to finish their work as early as possible as all the dust and pollution are intolerable.

agreed. the longer it takes, the more we gonna suffer here, feel a bit regret now.

agreed, seems like our residents here dont really receive any advantages after all. I heard the construction period gonna be extended by another 8 months due to the current restriction. the same case on the island side, MPPP is actually allowed gurney paragon to work until 10pm, perhaps for the dust and pollution consideration too.

For now, we would allow them to work only up to 6pm. Since the building is being built so near to our building, their noise pollution is much worse....

Therefore, they should finish their work when the time most of the owners come back to rest.....

Michael, are u going to report MPSP for yesterday (6/6/11) worked beyond 6pm?

Michael Learns To Rock said...

Nope because they have asked permission for that.

Their machine that do concrete slab broke down and thus the delay. They can't do half way stuff else will effect their structure.

Bear in mind, we are living beside them and their future issue might be our issue.
