I thought asking them to change to injection piling would be a best way to save our building but seems I was wrong. Totally wrong. Seems to me it got worse. To be logical, injection piling is way much better then hammer piling since it manages to overcome the vibration as well as noise issue that happen when using hammer pile... at least according to the facts given out in the net that is.
So, question is, is this normal to have vibration as well as sound come out from injection pile every time it hits the deepest pile that is many time stronger then normal hammer pile? Correct me if i'm wrong but I think this is NOT normal at all. Injection pile should be noise and vibration free.
With only 2 days piling, our building on the side got cracks all side of the walls. Many residents start to become agitated with the developer's attitude and they want them to stop immediately and rectify this issue else, they should stop work permanently. From what we thought is that the developer purposely do this to our building as they told us, its normal to have the sound and vibration to be at this magnitude...... what a joker. If its normal then no one would recommend this method in the first place right?
So, what's next? Complain again to MPSP? I bet you we will but this time, we might go up a level to make our voice heard.
By the way, to those who has their walls crack because of this, please voice up so that stern action can be taken on the developer themselves.
