Disco is here ...........!!!!!......Disco is here.........!!!! But only warm lights can be seen.

Well, actually what i wanted to say is that the building is being light up every night from last week and might go on for indefinite time unless the developer found out the bill hard to handle later. So for you guys who wanted to see the building shine out at night, except for the units' light, then you guys can proceed to the place to take a look.

Look from outside only as going in at night is still not permitable.

By the way, from yesterday onwards, this blog would not be allow in any comments anymore but you guys can still do so in forum site. This is because, with all the comments mentioned, seems that the blog become unorganized and thus, might cause more people to be confused on who is talking about that. So, its adviceable to proceed to the forums if you guys have any comments or questions that would need attention.

Thanx

im 1 of the potential buyer of this place and i have a few question i would like to ask. hope u can answer them for me so that i can make better judgement before i buy. i went to the vista bay site and have a look around inside and seem everything quite nice although from d comment before is for me consider quite harsh.

1) Color wise i think is ok but do we have the option to change it when we have the majority to change it later?

2) Frm the developer, i heard that our maintanence fee is around 10sen per sqr feet, it is this cheap?

3) From the picture on the rooftop, seems that its empty, and i remember the the developer said its the courtyard at the top and from my understanding, the courtyard is just a place where there is a space at the top and when u said there will be garden at the top after OC, would the developer really do it?

4) wil there be roof over the car park at the ground floor?

5) Since we only get 1 car park, and i want to rent another one, how much would it cost a month

6) how many touch and go card(access card) wil an owner get for a unit?

7) i can see an empty land area on the side facing the sea, is there any plan for it? afraid there would be another condo coming up from there.

8) last one is, there seems to be only few units left, what are the profession most of the guys living there?

Thank you.
hope this is not too much to ask

Hi Potential Buyer,

Looks like you have come to the right place to ask your questions. Although, I don't think i have all the perfect answer to your questions but i will try answer most of them and the one i'm not sure, i will try and ask the developer myself and feedback to you once i have it.

1) Color wise, we can always change it when we get our keys but this would need take all of the owners' view first before we can proceed.

2) Yes, you are quite right that 10sen per square feet is the cost of the maintenance fee but for me,i think its one of the cheapest around already.

3) You are absolutely correct. The developer did mention they would be a courtyard at the top of the roof but the beautification of the place only will take place when OC is given. This is true until now, as far as i know.

4) From my understanding, all of the ground floor parking area would be roofed.

5) I'm not so sure about this one but i guess i need to ask the developer on this. Hopefully the management of the building would be able to answer this for us as all of the car park rental money would be going to our maintenance account and not the developer's account.

6) Not sure on this either but will feedback to you once i have the information.

7) This question i think i would need to ask the developer again as i'm not sure the current status of the land. From the last feedback, i was told there isn't any plan yet but that was last year. Would feedback to you later on this

8) As far as i know, most of the people here are working professionals like engineers, consultants, managers, so on and so forth.

For the questions i haven't answer you, i will feedback to you again once i get the answer but then again, going to the office and ask is the best way to obtain best answers. Although i would not mind that you ask here, as we can get the knowledge also, but some questions like above might get a delay response.

Hope some of you guys who know the answers to this gentleman might help to chip in as well.

Thanx.

michael, thank you for the answers and i think for the questions you are unable to answer, i'd be going to the office next week to ask them directly and to sign off the documents as well.
i think i like the place and therefore, will purchased it. color wise is not bad, space wise is very good and also, i agree with your statement saying that this place is very strategic, i really do.

thank you again and hope to become part of the well organised neighbourhood soon.

Hi all,

Waiting needs patience.
I dun think this is developer side's issue...cos everyone also wish to complete this project on time. Blaming the developer or comment badly about Vistabay is not a wise decision. This will make other condo's and developer laugh at us and make some of the buyer disappointed.

>>>>>>>Hope we can get the OC very soon<<<<<<<<<

looking 4ward to stay in the place.never regret in buying this place up and i reckon many of you think the same too.seems that michael is an avid badminton player. do count me in later. what about a game of ping pong then?any1?

i can see 2 lifts but are those 2 lifts going to be operational at the same time or only a lift will be operational at any given 1 time and another one act as a backup?

Michael Learns To Rock said...

Hi there,

Lift wise i think both will be operational because i don't think one would be enough but i guess, after midnight, one of those lifts would be turn off to save energy since less people would be using it during that period.

Initially, I had booked for the 12th floor unit but I decided to have a view on the Vistabay Site before pay off the deposit.

Unfortunately, some weird finding had been captured went I was there. I actually found out that the 3rd floor of Car Park was not fully covered from the top which mean the air well is directly landed on the 3rd floor carpark. This seem to be abnormality for such a in door car park design. Do I have to bring umbrella in the indoor car park during raining time?

Bad thing is, it seem like the 3rd car park floor was partially flooded w/ raining water when I was there and those excessive water was tends to flow down toward the lobby which cause the entire lobby stair turn out to be extremely slipery. If continue to be in this situation, I believe the wall paint will fall off easily due to long term expose to rain water.

others than that, do you all feel that the swimming pool is kind of undersize?

It seem like quite hard to accumulate entire building residences or it just act as a "fountain" w/o normal swimming pool length.

Any explanation from the developer?

Thx

Daniel

hi yall, this place look damn nice and am thinking of purchasing one. although i haven't go to the office yet to ask but seems i can read a lot of comments on this place in this blog which is good......i mean to have one place with all the information.
most of the comments i read are kinda bad but is it all true? cause i know some outsiders might come and stir up the thing.

Michael Learns To Rock said...

Hi Daniel,

Welcome to our new place. Its nice to hear that you have booked a place here and i do hope that it would be a pleasant place for you in future. For your doubts and concerns that you have voiced out, you have come to the right place to ask.

Seems you have 3 unsatisfactory concerns over the place and let me clarify for you.
Regarding the rain water on the 3rd floor parking space, well, i would say that this issue won't be a big problem in the future as we are going to close up the air well but not air tight to say the least. The developer plan to have a hovering roof covering the air wells so that it can prevent water from coming in and yet, still allow air to flow in which i believe a good way to over come this don't you think?
Anyway, this part will only be done when we have obtained OC.

About the small size swimming pool, well, its has been planed since day one to be like this and thus, all of the owners who have bought this place should be well notified on this matter. For me, i seldom dip into the pool, so, this won't be much of a problem to me.

Hope these explanination able to clear your doubts and proceed to buy the place up. Hope to have you as our neighbour and all the best.

quite sometime i've been waiting for the VP, when can we actually get it? for those who is not frustrated initially but i bet by now its like hot boiling water already.from my perspective, the place is damn nice compare to what i have seen but this progress to get VP is taking on my nerve. Please help on this please!!!!

Michael Learns To Rock said...

Hi there,

Understand your anger and dissapointment but we do have recent event that might to your interest. I do hope you can register as one of the owner in the vista bay forum to get more insight into what happening at the progress.

Thanks

Michael is not a developer, why so busy body to explain so much to customer or owner. It it out of his responsible. The one who should answer to customer or owner is developer not Michael.

Michael Learns To Rock said...

Hi Anonymous,

I beg to differ as i'm one of the owner as well and therefore the well being of the place make it my business. Just that i'm sharing with everyone what information i have obtained and nothing more.

Anonymous said...

nothing much to say except a very slow respond in the VP. i know its the local council issue but then, hope the developer and 'tui' them a little bit more else we won't know when we are going to get our keys. hope to move in as soon as possible and paying rental now on my current house is not feasible for a long period. everything else about the place is very nice so no comment on that.

Rite nw, I want 2 thanks michael on what he had done so far which i tink is pretty remarkable 4 a guy who is doing 4 nothing.

Information i get from him blog has get me on the edge on every news and post and therefore, its a very big relief to knw we have this blog to update us who seldom go to the office to ask.

But the weird thing is, there are still people out there who against what he is doing and telling him to stop and its like asking TV3 to close their Buletin News at 8pm.

Whatever it is, i'm backing michael up in what he is doing, so don't stop.
