What a 'great' start to the year. Another earthquake feeling but fortunately this time, it was not as terrible as last time. The building sway but then for a period of few seconds only and although its a small one, but it manage to shake most of the residents up.
This feeling was actually felt at around 2.50am this morning and 6 hours later, the news hits the newspaper.

"Petaling Jaya: A strong earthquake with a magnitude of 7.3 struck off Northern Sumatra's West Coast Wednesday, triggering a tsunami advisory that was lifted later.
However, the tremors of the quake, which occurred at 2.36am, were felt in Perlis, Penang and Kedah, according to the Malaysian Meteorological Department.
The department lifted the advisory two hours later.
The epicenter of the quake was located at 314km South West of Simeulue, Indonesia and 856km South West of Pulau Pangkor, Perak.
The department said they would continue to monitor the situation."
