Dancing in the Air

6th September 2011
At approximately 2.00am today, most of the residents was terribly awaken by swaying of the building.
Many people rushed down and out from the building but then, many also stayed back.
Some of the resident even went online to check whether we have been rock by a quake from our neighbouring country again. Below is the news I picked out from the internet:

"A 12-year-old boy is dead in Indonesia, where a powerful earthquake shook people from their beds and sent residents pouring into the streets.

The 6.6-magnitude temblor struck before dawn Tuesday in the western island of Sumatra, sending residents streaming from homes, hotels and at least one hospital. Officials said a boy was crushed in his bed by falling debris and another person was seriously injured.
The quake was centred about 100 kilometers southwest of Medan, close to Indonesia's northernmost Aceh province which bore the brunt of a deadly earthquake and tsunami in December 2004. Tuesday's quake cracked walls and damaged buildings, but scientists said it was too far inland to cause another tsunami."

I would like to take this opportunity again to advise everyone who stay in and around our building that running down to the field away from tall building might seems to be the best way of getting a safe place but according to    expert, staying inside might be the safest bet around. Why you may ask? Just read my blog posted last year titled "Earthquake Do's and Don't's".
