Telaga Emas - Update

Today was the day a meeting schedule with Telaga Emas developer, Bagan Vista Residents as well as MPSP to come out with a amicable solution to the piling issue which was highlighted back then.

We make known our intention to them saying that the current method of piling is actually not giving us a good day since day one in term or noise pollution as well as vibration which can cause severe damage to our building later. We were told by them that the noise as well as vibration can be reduced if they put in certain cushion to soften the blow of the piles. This reduction, as mention by their engineers, is about 25%-40% reduction but we were thinking of more to 80%-95% reduction. They said let them try out first before we jump into any conclusion and to give them a chance to amend their wrong. Before that, I even disagree with their suggestion to have a guarantee letter saying that if there are any cracks were to happen to our place, they will repair it immediately . Why want to wait till cracks happen then just fix our place up? How come cannot start changing their method of piling to avoid any unnecessary disturbance to the people staying nearby instead? Issue is, the method we have suggested is triple the amount they would normally pay for hammer pilling.



They (Telaga Emas) even went as far as saying our apartment previously did the same as well but no complaint even made against them so why now? We said that they are unlucky enough to have met us then.

So, for now, we will be waiting a cal from to set up a test piling to ensure there is not noise and vibration strong enough to cause any more headache to us who is staying in Bagan Vista. If they fail to meet our criteria we put to them then Stop Work order will still proceed till a solution is accepted by all.

To all the owners who is reading this blog, hope you guys can get ready to help us out to ensure that the test pile that they will be having in a couple days time (date and time will be informed to you again) is not really disturbing our place, in term of noise as well as vibration. If the noise and vibration is not acceptable to you guys, do send out a message and will inform the council that their method will still need to change. Hope you guys can come all out to help us out on this.
