Next door piling has started work today but the weird part is, do they have any permit to start work at all?!!! For a normal development, they would need to go through MPSP approval before work can be started and this requires them to submit a building plan, get approval on the plan and then, MPSP will submit a letter to all it's neighbouring houses to seek for permission. If there is any objection to it, they would need to organize a meeting between the one object to it together with MPSP as well as the developer themselves.
All this will take place before the developer get the green light to start work. So, why does this developer over rule the current regulation on this development process? Are they trying to hasten their work process and as we might know it, a day delay might cause them huge loses. Question is, would they compromise their building work in order to get the project going and finish on time? Take time to ponder on this and if you are one of the buyer, take note on this. Is your properties or investment secure with this kind of attitude by the developer towards law and order?
Complain has been filed against them and right now, as I'm typing, the MPSP is actually checking against them whether they have flaunt the law or otherwise. If they flaunt, then stop work order will be issued out to them to stop work immediately and if they follow the procedure nicely, then in that case, they would need to call us up to clarify everything since as far as we know, they should not have the approval by MPSP before having a meeting with the party which object to this project.
All we want is them to reconsider their project either to move it further or at least follow the guidelines that we have laid down for them. If they don't consider about this at all then they are risking their project, mostly will get a longer delay in their development.
We are not saying that no development should take place around us, just that we want them to consider other people's view before making a project which might in one way or another, jeopardize properties functionality as well as people future prospect around it. This is a residential area and therefore, they can't simply think about having a go at the profit as the surrounding people are not stupid and definitely not easy to be push around. We want to make it clear to the developer who is doing this project to again, consider our view before proceeding.
